I’m so stoked for this show, first improv show of the year from the RCC and it’s already a blowout. Everyone should come!
Grown up birthday list.
I am very thankful for being able to spend Christmas with my family, enjoying their company and embracing the spirit of togetherness. But there’s some shit I want that I didn’t get. Fortunately, my birthday is coming up in about a month, so I present to you my sad, adult birthday wish list:
Someone to fix the body of my Macbook so it closes all the way again and the mouse doesn’t get weird and stop letting me click on things.
A real haircut that does not include me hacking at my own bangs over the sink.
2 more rechargeable AA batteries (why did this charger only come with 2? This is stupid.)
My oil changed, new headlights and a new brake light.
A new iphone (okay whatever.)
a new pair of workout pants because all I have are old Comedysportz sweatpants in XL and I look sad enough without their help at the gym, thank you very much.

President Obama, in taking the low status role, displays a good sense of performing long-form improv. The child, by making the leader of the free world powerless at the hands of himself, shows decent instincts for game. Both are invested in strong object work. The president is holding a real phone, avoiding the classic “finger and thumb” phone mistake. Urban singularity
Being able to hear my neighbors’ in their apartments walking around on their creaky floors, running their washing machines, listening to their music, muffled, is something I actually enjoy from time to time. It reminds me I’m not alone, and that even when I’m in my most private moments I’m not far from another human being in theirs.
I like the traffic outside when I go to bed. I like the guys who walk by the windows of the buildings; sounding like they’re carrying on conversations with themselves- but we’re all listening to them, aren’t we?
